<p>Despite the driver leaving their phone number, the woman claimed that they did not answer the phone, despite her numerous attempts to contact them.</p>

<p><b>&#8220;My aunt went to buy ice cream, and you know what he said? He said he doesn&#8217;t sell ice cream to Indians,&#8221;</b> she narrated.</p>
<p>The woman said her family was shocked by the trader&#8217;s words, and asked him why he did not sell ice cream to Indians.</p>

<p>When he saw beansprouts in his mee goreng, he was furious and criticised the hawker stall, blaming either the attendant for not listening or the chef for forgetting his request.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;d usually ask them to cook my meal again. But because I pity the hawker as they didn&#8217;t have many customers, I did this as a sign of protest.</p>

<p>The entrance fee is RM9 for adults and children, and free for children below three years old.</p>

<p>&#8220;We are not here to compete with big-time players. We are offering an option for families looking for a cheaper alternative to spend time with their young children,&#8221; said Fikri.</p>
<p>&#8220;When we designed the business model, the company owner&#8217;s priority was to make sure that it suited the surroundings, which have about 300 Malay households.</p>
<p>&#8220;We also have Islamic religious and tahfiz schools operating in Permatang Berangan, so we had to take that into consideration,&#8221; he explained.</p>
<p>He said the company also decided to become Muslim-only to prevent visitors from wearing swimming attire that went against the local community&#8217;s sentiments.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our priority is to develop a sustainable business model that is suitable for the close-knit Malay-Muslim community. We have explained this to non-Muslims visitors and most of them understood our stand,&#8221; he added.</p>

<p>In the <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://twitter.com/redzuanNewsMPB/status/1752351214531121471">picture</a>, the banana sapling is seen standing upright within the pothole. Fresh soil was placed around the trunk to secure the plant in its position.</p>
<p>&#8220;If [the tree] bears fruit, [I&#8217;ll] buy tar to patch the pothole myself. [I] pity the road users,&#8221; he remarked sarcastically on his Facebook post.</p>
<p>According to <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.bharian.com.my/berita/nasional/2024/01/1206608/letak-pokok-pisang-tutup-lubang-di-jalan-sandakan-lahad-datu">Berita Harian</a>, the pothole was located approximately 500m away from the site of a fatal accident involving a four-year-old girl, who lost her life when the Proton Iswara she was in collided with an express bus.</p>
<p>Moments before the <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.bharian.com.my/berita/kes/2024/01/1205569/budak-4-tahun-maut-kereta-dirempuh-bas-ekspres">fatal accident</a>, there was another collision at the same location involving two lorries.</p>
<p>The police said the accident happened when the lorry drivers were attempting to avoid potholes and navigate the uneven road.</p>
<p>This caused the driver of the Proton Iswara and a three-tonne lorry to suddenly stop their vehicles. An express bus approaching from the same direction was unable to stop in time and slammed into the rear of the car.</p>

<p>The incident occurred on 30 January when a fictional musician sharing the guitarist&#8217;s name was mentioned in the listening module of this year&#8217;s English SPM paper.</p>
<p>Shortly after the conclusion of the exam, a wave of students vented their frustration by sending hundreds of messages and voice notes to Kyle Green&#8217;s social media accounts, expressing their dissatisfaction with the difficulty of the questions.</p>
<p>&#8220;Did you take a law course or a lecturer course in Australia, bro? My future depends on the answer here,&#8221; commented one SPM student in one of Green&#8217;s Instagram posts.</p>
<p>&#8220;Anyone here because of the SPM test?&#8221; wrote another.</p>

<p>&#8220;But on the day of the event, there was so much food that it looked like a night market,&#8221; said the bride.</p>
