<p>Chen Mingfa, the owner of a lor mee stall, received praise after a Facebook user, Lee Siew Yian, shared a video of the stall&#8217;s honour payment system﻿.</p>
<p>In the 12-second video, Lee can be seen paying for the food she bought at the stall and retrieving the change.</p>
<p>The video also includes a shot of a sign placed near the cashbox at the front of the stall. Written in Chinese, it reads, &#8220;Payment is self-service. Takeaway boxes require an extra 30 cents. Thank you for your cooperation.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I was amazed to see his money box right at the counter while he cooked his noodles,&#8221; read the caption of the video.</p>
<p>&#8220;You order, check the price, pay for your noodles, and take the change, without any intervention,&#8221; she added.</p>

<p><p>Chen established this &#8220;self-help&#8221; system about a year ago due to the high cost of hiring an assistant, <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.8world.com/singapore/customers-pay-and-take-their-own-changes-2345801">reported 8world</a>.</p>
<p>He also said he is not worried about customers not paying for their food or attempting theft as he has confidence in the conscience of Singaporeans.﻿ </p>
<p>&#8220;Up until now, there haven&#8217;t been any problems, and I haven&#8217;t lost any money. In Singapore, I feel that everyone is kind,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Chen further mentioned that some customers have also helped him check if the people in front have paid.</p>
<p>&#8220;So, I don&#8217;t have to worry too much. Sometimes, some elderly people don&#8217;t know how to find money or pay, and other customers also step forward to help,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Additionally, the noodle stall owner also believes his system serves an educational purpose. </p>
<p>&#8220;It can reflect the true, good, and beautiful aspects of human nature. If more and more people adopt this practice, society will be very harmonious,&#8221; said Chen.</p>

<p><i>Hitam Putih Kehidupan</i> is a podcast hosted by Rosyam and Adzlina Hasan, an entrepreneur. The specific episode, titled &#8220;Are women addicted to porn?&#8221; discussed the issue of pornography addiction among Malaysians.</p>
<p>The 56-second clip began with Rosyam advocating the need for brothels in the country.  As he made the statement, the podcast&#8217;s guest, a psychiatrist named Aiman Amri, questioned him, asking, &#8220;Why is it needed?&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;There are about three million foreign workers who come here to work in our country, and almost all of them have left their wives behind in their home country,&#8221; Rosyam explained.</p>
<p>&#8220;These foreign workers are mostly men, and men always have these urges, you know what I mean, right? But how can they fulfil them without their wives?&#8221; he asked.</p>

<p>Rosyam asserted that  it was just his personal view on the issue of rape crimes and asked viewers to judge for themselves.</p>
<p>&#8220;That is my personal opinion. But please, think about it yourselves. I could be wrong, and then again, perhaps I could be right,&#8221; he said.</p>

<p>In a video posted on Instagram, the user shared that his 33-year-old sister suffered a stroke 20 days after giving birth to her first child via Caesarean delivery. </p>
<p>He said that she was admitted to the hospital and remained there for five months.</p>
<p>The man said she was discharged from the hospital, last Friday, 29 December, but her health began to decline again two days later.</p>
<p>On Sunday, 31 December, she was readmitted to the hospital and initially placed in the high-risk zone before being transferred to the critical zone. The brother said the doctors then recommended putting her into a medically-induced coma because her health was deteriorating rapidly.</p>
<p>According to <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.healthline.com/health/heart-attack/induced-coma-after-heart-attack">Healthline</a>, a medically induced coma is a controlled, reversible slowdown of brain function to protect the brain and allow the body to heal. It is only induced in hospital intensive care units with careful supervision from doctors for patients in critical condition.</p>
<p>The woman was sedated via a breathing tube at 2am.&nbsp;However, by dawn, the brother woke up to the news that his sister had died.</p>

<p>Frustrated with the mouse, the student decided to retaliate by biting its head as soon as she caught it.</p>
<p>On Douyin, China&#8217;s equivalent of TikTok, the student&#8217;s roommate revealed that her friend&#8217;s unconventional move left tooth marks on the top of the mouse&#8217;s head.</p>
<p>She further explained that the mouse died shortly afterwards, not due to the bite, but from suffocation caused by the teen&#8217;s firm grasp when she caught it.</p>
