<p><p>Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad stated that he has received public alerts regarding the product, featuring a two-pronged nasal inhaler filled with a camphor-like substance, actively promoted and distributed across various platforms, reported the <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2024/02/1009612/health-minister-vows-swift-action-against-energy-stick-vape-product" title="Link: https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2024/02/1009612/health-minister-vows-swift-action-against-energy-stick-vape-product">New Straits Times.</a></p>
<p>&#8220;Thus, I have directed the director-general and deputy director to thoroughly scrutinise the matter and enforce necessary measures,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Dr Dzulkefly further mentioned that he had received multiple complaints regarding health issues that could be caused by the energy stick, and assured the public that he would promptly address the concerns.</p>

<p>The product is promoted as an energy booster, claiming to provide a stimulating effect for students and working adults.</p>
<p>According to<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.buletintv3.my/nasional/penjualan-energy-stick-kkm-akan-ambil-tindakan-segera/?fbclid=IwAR3omGe7J4tlBJXxiKOGkO3d3Kfz1MOLXbgCLiqWVfYdLGZwfJvi6X-vWvk"> Buletin TV3</a>, the product is said to have two nozzles that fit into the nostrils, and the substance in it is to be inhaled﻿ through the nose.</p>
<p>The sellers of the product allegedly employ concerning taglines such as &#8220;inhale before going to school&#8221; and &#8220;inhale before starting work&#8221;.</p>
