WhatsApp Is Testing Chat Lock Feature Across Linked Devices
You can lock your chats behind your device's password or biometrics.
WhatsApp has been seen testing its chat lock feature in the beta version of the app
WhatsApp introduced chat locks to secure private and group chats with their device's password or biometrics. Currently, the feature is planned to be extended to linked web client devices.

WABetaInfo reports that in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.4.14 update, users can now lock chats on all linked devices
This occurs if the feature is enabled on the user's main device. This feature wasn't available from the beginning, which is surprising for those concerned about privacy and who have many locked chats.
WhatsApp Web is getting a minor user interface update
WABetaInfo has reported that a tab for locked chats is also being introduced. This development may offer insights into why the synchronisation of the privacy feature is currently absent on the platform
Other additions, such as secret codes and the ability to hide them, will also be included once locked chat syncing arrives on all your WhatsApp linked devices.
However, WhatsApp has not provided an official release date yet.
