WhatsApp's Channels now come with new features that provide more ways to connect with users

WhatsApp is upgrading its broadcasting feature, Channels, with voice updates and the ability to share polls.

Channels are useful for user engagement, especially for podcasters who can want to share episode teasers with their listeners.

Voice Updates will allow you to share and connect with followers

The new feature will allow you to send voice clips, similar to voice messages, to channels. Followers of WhatsApp Channels will also be able to play and react to the voice messages.

Meanwhile, the new polls features will allow content creators to engage with their channel followers by offering a list of options to vote on

The ability to share polls offers a new way for followers to engage with the channels they follow, going beyond just reacting to updates. Each poll can have up to four entries and allows users to choose multiple options.

1. Simply long-press an update.
2. Then, select 'Forward'.
3. Finally, choose 'My Status' for a post you find interesting.

Moreover, each channel can accommodate up to 16 admins, making it easier to keep everyone informed about the latest updates on a specific channel.
