Cover image via Starting from 1 February, Malaysians can renew their driver's license and road tax with just a few taps on their smartphones
Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced the new feature today, 2 January, which will be available on the MyJPJ app next month.
Loke said the initiative would not only allow the public to save time and costs, but also help prevent congestions at the Road Transport Department (JPJ) counters.

To encourage downloads, JPJ is offering this rebate until 31 December, so don't miss it!
However, this service is exclusively for Malaysian citizens
According to the New Straits Times, if you are a foreigner or hold a special permit or card, you are still required to visit the JPJ office in person.
