<p>Menerusi video tersebut,  seorang pemandu lelaki telah menurunkan tingkap keretanya sebelum memberikan teguran kepada seorang lelaki yang didakwa sebagai warga Singapura, yang sedang membeli minyak RON95 untuk kenderaannya.﻿</p>
<p><i>“Bro nombor pendaftaran awak dari mana? Awak rakyat Singapura bukan?”</i> soalnya kepada lelaki berkenaan dalam bahasa Inggeris.</p>
<p>Namun, lelaki itu seolah tidak memahaminya.</p>

<p>Wanita itu kemudian menjelaskan bahawa dia adalah warga Malaysia, tetapi pemandu itu menunjukkan nombor pendaftaran kenderaan yang menunjukkan bahawa ia adalah dari Singapura.</p>
<p>Setelah mendengar penjelasan pemandu itu, mereka kelihatan enggan untuk melayani. Namun, setelah ditekan, lelaki tersebut mengaku tidak mengetahui dan meminta maaf.﻿</p>
<p><i>“Ini salah, awak letak sekarang. Letak balik nozel, ini negara saya. Awak tak boleh buat begitu kepada negara saya.<br /></i><i><br />“Nombor pendataran awak adalah Singapura, bagaimana awak boleh isi minyak kuning ia bersubsidi,”</i> katanya lagi.</p>

<p>The Thai-registered car was seen entering the petrol station from the Thai border.</p>
<p>This has sparked outrage online, with Malaysians expressing their discontent over the apparent violation of regulations, as RON95 is a government-subsidised fuel meant for Malaysia-registered vehicles.</p>
<p>Adding to the controversy, one of the petrol station staff members is seen assisting the couple by pressing on the car&#8217;s boot. This act, often done to facilitate the filling process, has drawn criticism from netizens as well, as it appears to be aiding in the misuse of subsidised fuel, <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.nst.com.my/news/nst-viral/2024/01/997091/nstviral-sawadika-woman-gets-help-petrol-station-refuel-thai">reported</a> the New Straits Times.</p>

<p>In the video uploaded on X, official government accounts of the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli were tagged.</p>
<p>&#8220;Not only did she steal subsidised fuel meant for Malaysian citizens, but what&#8217;s baffling is why the station employees willingly helped her fill up the tank,&#8221; <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://twitter.com/MALAYSIAVIRALLL/status/1742213947447779699">claimed</a> the uploader.</p>
<p>Many have called for accountability and adherence to the law in fuel subsidy distribution.</p>
