<p>According to Sabah&#8217;s <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.dailyexpress.com.my/news/227842/korean-paraglider-rescued-from-tree-in-manggatal/">Daily Express</a>, 50-year-old Cha Woo Sung took off from the renowned Kokol Hill on Sunday, 28 January, but had veered off course due to wind conditions and other technical problems. </p>
<p>He then found himself entangled in a tree.</p>

<p>According to&nbsp;<a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2024/01/28/paraglider-rescued-from-tree-in-menggatal">The Star</a>,&nbsp;Lintas Fire Station chief Agustavia Joe Guasi said Cha was suspended midair for about 40 minutes before firemen managed to bring him down to safety using a lowering method.</p>
<p>He was safely brought down and did not suffer any injuries from the incident.</p>
