<p>In the 20-second <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://www.tiktok.com/@saraygonephoto/video/7325734678210612487?lang=en">clip</a> posted by user @saraygonephoto, the newlyweds shared that their wedding reception had a <i>pasar malam</i> (night market) theme, complete with stalls serving local food.</p>
<p>At the stalls, guests were treated to a variety of Malaysian street food﻿, including air balang (drinks served in jars), teh tarik, kuih cakoi, keropok lekor, laksa, bihun sup, and many more.</p>

<p>&#8220;I initially only ordered the main menu, which was nasi minyak for 1,500 pax. My family then agreed to sponsor the side menu, and I thought it wouldn&#8217;t be much.</p>
<p>&#8220;But on the day of the event, there was so much food that it looked like a night market,&#8221; said the bride.</p>

<p>During the reception, the groom was also seen video-calling his wife, who unfortunately was bedridden in the hospital.</p>
<p>&#8220;Dear husband, I&#8217;m sorry you had to attend the wedding alone,&#8221; wrote the bride in the caption.</p>

<p>Despite feeling disappointed about being stuck in Kuala Lumpur, Fatihah added that they ultimately decided it was best to proceed with the recep﻿tion as planned because they had already paid for the ceremony.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our wedding reception was in Kedah and I was all the way in KL. It was very last minute so we couldn&#8217;t have postponed it,&#8221; she explained, adding that&nbsp;her husband also cried during the reception.</p>
