<p>After being helped onto the fishing boat, the couple were taken to the Batu Uban Marine Police Force jetty for initial treatment. The man suffered head injuries and was later transported to Penang Hospital.</p>

<p>During the reception, the groom was also seen video-calling his wife, who unfortunately was bedridden in the hospital.</p>
<p>&#8220;Dear husband, I&#8217;m sorry you had to attend the wedding alone,&#8221; wrote the bride in the caption.</p>

<p>Despite feeling disappointed about being stuck in Kuala Lumpur, Fatihah added that they ultimately decided it was best to proceed with the recep﻿tion as planned because they had already paid for the ceremony.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our wedding reception was in Kedah and I was all the way in KL. It was very last minute so we couldn&#8217;t have postponed it,&#8221; she explained, adding that&nbsp;her husband also cried during the reception.</p>
