<p>This was revealed by  Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin after launching the mid-term review of Malaysia’s Defence White Paper﻿ </p>
<p>He mentioned the increasing use of IT technologies by armed forces worldwide and also referred to real-life internet issues, such as how smugglers use drones to evade security forces.</p>

<p>Mohamed Khalid also mentioned the expansion of the Singapore Armed Forces, which included the establishment of the Digital and Intelligence Service as its fourth branch.﻿</p>
