myBurgerLab Challenges Boss To Make A Taugeh Burger & You Can Soon Try It For Yourself
Are you Team Taugeh or Team No Wei?
It started off as a joke
myBurgerLab posted a photo of a burger with taugeh (beansprouts) yesterday, 17 January, that was supposedly created with ChatGPT…
… and taugeh-haters lost their sh*t

Regardless, some said they are actual fans and wouldn't mind it

Noticing that the burger shop's co-founder RenYi Chin also avoids taugeh in his food, the team decided to challenge their boss to create a burger with the controversial ingredient
And so, he did.
myBurgerLab shared a video of RenYi taking up the challenge to incorporate beansprouts into a burger, complete with a patty, and it lowkey looks good.
From there, myBurgerLab introduces the Taukeh Ipoh and Taukeh Tso burgers to you, this Chinese New Year!
The Taukeh Ipoh burger features a crispy fried chicken thigh dipped in a new General Tso sauce, inspired by the Asian-American cuisine favourite.
The sauced-up patty is placed on a bed of teppanyaki-style stir-fried taugeh and cabbage, topped with tangy mayo and sesame oil, before being sandwiched between two fluffy bamboo charcoal buns.
If you're thinking, "Taugeh? No way." In true myBurgerLab fashion, don't knock it till you try it, eh?

Even if you're not keen on the taugeh, there's something new for everyone to try this season
There's a new Taukeh Tso burger featuring the same ingredients — a crispy, fried chicken thigh and sauces — but instead of taugeh, it comes with a juicy pineapple slice.

Both burgers will be available from 22 January to 29 February at myBurgerLab outlets for all taugeh fans (and all taugeh-haters who are adventurous enough) 😛
