<p>In the <a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener" href="https://twitter.com/twtsecretsmy/status/1757008115529388483?t=siZEL-lvp8oIitK1JmgwJw&amp;s=08">post</a>, the 21-year-old shared that her mother had a history of isolating her from the outside world. However, the situation worsened﻿&nbsp;after she enrolled in a local university.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been living like this for years, but when I recently started my degree, she decided to lock me up in our home more than before.</p>
<p>&#8220;It has been exactly two months and a half since I wasn&#8217;t given permission to leave. I&#8217;m not even allowed to open the house&#8217;s gate,&#8221; she confessed.</p>

<p>In addition to facing difficulties in continuing her tertiary studies, she claimed that her mother forbade her from working with other companies.</p>
<p>Instead, she insisted that she work as an assistant at the same bank where her mother was employed.</p>
<p>This situation has taken a toll on her mental health, resulting in a decline﻿ in her academic performance and a resurgence of depression.</p>
<p>&#8220;I still have everything here but it&#8217;s driving me crazy. My grades dropped and my depression came back,&#8221; she wrote.</p>
<p>Despite being confined to her bedroom for most of the day, the woman shared that her mother would still reprimand her for spending too much time there.</p>
